Between the cost of the facility, horse care, and instructor pay, to give a lesson at Healing with Horses Ranch costs us $140. Instead of charging at cost, we automatically give every student a 40% discount. We also offer financial scholarships, up to 70%. Our veterans always ride for free.

Donate Your Horse, Donkey, Or Mule To Healing With Horses Ranch
It takes a very special horse, donkey, or mule to be willing to partner with our team to promote resilience and independence! The equines that partner with us at Healing with Horses Ranch must go through an extensive evaluation and training process to join the team. Unfortunately, no every equine is ready or willing to work in equine therapy. To donate an equine to Healing with Horses Ranch:
- The donor must first complete the Equine Trial Questionnaire.
- Healing with Horses Ranch will review the Equine Trial Questionnaire and contact the donor about possible next steps.
- If Healing with Horses Ranch the equine is a candidate for equine therapy, we will schedule an off-site evaluation at your property, boarding facility, or stable.
- If the equine candidate preforms well durning our off-site evaluation, we will take the equine candidate in for a 30 – 60 day trial.
- If an equine shows appropriate suitable for work in equine therapy after the 30 – 60 trial period, Healing with Horses Ranch will take over ownership.
