Healing with Horses Ranch is proud to announce that it was one of four local nonprofits to receive a $5,000 donation from H-E-B during the groundbreaking ceremony for their new store in Manor, Texas. This generous contribution will support the Ranch’s ongoing mission to provide therapeutic equine-assisted services for individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges.
The ceremony, held on October 9, 2024, at the future site of the Manor H-E-B (Hwy 290 and FM 973), celebrated the construction of the 101,000-square-foot store, which is scheduled to open in late 2025. John D’Andrea, Executive Director of Healing with Horses Ranch, attended the event to accept the donation on behalf of the organization.
“We are extremely grateful to H-E-B for their generosity and continued investment in our community,” said John D’Andrea. “This donation will directly impact our ability to provide life-changing services to the individuals we serve. We are excited to continue growing alongside the Manor community and look forward to strengthening our relationship with H-E-B.”
Healing with Horses Ranch serves both youth & adults with various physical & emotional challenges through equine-assisted therapy and learning programs, fostering emotional healing, resilience, and independence. H-E-B’s donation will help the Ranch continue expanding its therapeutic offerings and reach more individuals in the greater Austin area.
In addition to Healing with Horses Ranch, H-E-B also donated $5,000 each to Manor ISD Education Foundation, Manor Schoolhouse Foundation, and Jesse Samaripa American Legion Post 331. To learn more about H-E-B’s new store and groundbreaking event, you can read their official press release here.
