We have Employment opportunities in the following Areas:

  • PATH Intl certified Riding Instructors  for our growing Adaptive Riding and Equine Assisted Learning Program.
    • Candidates must have a strong understanding of how horses communicate to ensure safe and meaningful  equine interactions as well as the ability to problem solve to creatively create adaptations and lessons to help our clients improve their resilience, learn how to transition easier, and increase their independence.
    • Qualifications
      • Must already be PATH Intl  Certified Riding instructor (CTRI)
      • CPR and First Aid certified
      • Completed Healing with Horses Volunteer training
      • General knowledge of how horses can benefit people with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges as well as the risks that may be presented
      • General knowledge of PATH Intl Standards and how they apply to instructors
      • Excellent equine behavior and management knowledge
 
  • PATH Intl certified Equine Specialists for our growing Equine Facilitated Counseling Program.
    • Candidates will be part of a team responsible for creating effective Equine Assisted Learning and Counseling sessions.  Must have a strong understanding of how horses communicate to ensure safe and meaningful equine interactions to help our clients improve their resilience, learn how to transition easier, and increase their independence. 
    • Qualifications:
      • Must already be PATH Intl ESMHL Certified
      • CPR and First Aid certified
      • Completion of all Healing with Horses Volunteer training
      • Completion of the Healing with Horses Ranch SAFE training
      • General knowledge of mental health process
      • Excellent equine behavior and management knowledge
      • 21 years of age or older
 
  • Texas Licensed Mental Health Professional for our growing Equine Facilitated Counseling Program.
    • Candidates will be part of a team responsible for creating effective Equine Assisted Learning and Counseling sessions.  Must have a strong understanding of how horses communicate to ensure safe and meaningful equine interactions to help our clients improve their resilience, learn how to transition easier, and increase their independence. 
    • Qualifications:
      • Must already be Licensed in the state of Texas 
      • Must already be Insured in the state of Texas 
      • Minimum of 1000 hours under a licensed Supervisor 
      • CPR and First Aid certified 
      • Completion of all Healing with Horses Volunteer training
